Elliptical's most working mechanisms are protected inside the casing. However, for efficient operation, ellipticals relies on low friction. To keep the friction low, the rollers, rails, and internal mechanisms must be as clean as possible. We recommend cleaning your elliptical before and after each workout.

1. Use a damp, soft cloth to clean all exposed surfaces. This helps remove any dust or dirt that might affect the smooth operation of the unit.
2. To clean the ramp and roller wheels, position one foot pedal at the top of the ramp (the other will automatically be positioned at the bottom).
3. Clean the exposed surfaces of the ramp and roller wheels daily, or whenever the ramp becomes soiled.
4. Switch the foot pedal position to finish cleaning the ramp. Gently lift the roller wheel and rotate it to clean it.
5. Let it dry.

CAUTION: Do not use any acidic cleaners. Doing so will weaken the ramp coating and may result in smoothness of the exercises. We like to use Simple GreenĀ® Bike Cleaner & Degreaser. It easily removes dirt and grease from your ramp.

Like most investments, an investment of home gym equipment must be protected by ensuring smooth operation and machine functionality for the life of the machine. Fitness equipment, both strength and cardio equipment, have regular cleaning, inspection, and required maintenance guidelines. Your guidelines are very important for me cause here valuable information are mentioned.

Hi Stan, how often do you suggest cleaning the ramp? I don't want to over-do it and cause unnecessary damage.

I would clean after each use with just damp cloth and once a week with some degreaser like SimpleGreen Bike Cleaner Foam
